Our Reading Seminars are group-based discussions that explore a text in depth - a slightly different vibe from our monthly book clubs. Guided by a facilitator (and sometimes paired with extra readings!), seminars meet for multiple sessions and let us connect the story to the world around us through history, pop culture, and critical theory.

️ Read to page 72 (through Chapter 7) for the first meeting — skip the intro for now!
️ Finish the book + read the intro for the second and final session.
️ We’ll be using the Lanternfish Press edition, edited by Carmen Maria Machado (available at Parallel Worlds!)
